The GFWC-Mississippi Federation of Women's Clubs (MFWC), Inc is made up of local clubs who determine their own activities within the program guidelines of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC). The GFWC-MFWC clubs address the diverse needs of their communities, recognize women's past achievements, promote literacy for children and adults and encourage good health practices.

GFWC-MFWC is a proud member of GFWC, one of the world's largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational, women's volunteer service organization, which has earned a reputation as a powerful force.   • MFWC State Club Dues and District Club Dues must be postmarked by January 1, 2026 to be eligible for judging and awards. (Link)
  • MFWC Club Reports must be submitted by by February 1, 2026 to be eligible for judging. (Link)
  • MFWC Challenge Grant applications, Hebron Memorial Scholarship, and Writing Contest entries must be submitted by February 1, 2026 to be eligible for consideration. (Link)
  • MFWC Clubwoman of the Year Award applications, Juniorette of the Year Award applications, and MFWC LEADS applications must be submitted by February 10, 2026 to be eligible for consideration (Link)
  • MFWC Scrapbooks and Yearbooks must be postmarked by February 15, 2026 to be eligible for consideration.(Link)
  • GFWC Community Impact Program Award material must be submitted by this date to be eligible for consideration.
  • Sarah Peugh Butterfly Scholarship application must be submitted by March 1, 2026 to be eligible for consideration. (Link)

2026 Meeting Schedule and District Convention Schedule

  • MFWC Winter Board Meeting & MS LEADS on February 21, 2026. Location to be announced later.
  • Central District Convention on March 7, 2026. This convention is hosted by the Quitman Woman's Club and Fortnightly Club of Meridian. Convention location to be determined at a later date.
  • Southern District Convention on March 28, 2026. This convention is hosted by the Homochitto Heritage Club, Inc. Convention location to be determined at a later date.
  • Northern District Convention on March 21, 2026. This convention is hosted by the Woman's Club of Tunica County and the Cleveland Women's Club. Convention location to be determined at a later date.
